Friday’s primetime episode of Nickelodeon’s hit series iCarly garnered more than 4.5 million viewers, making it the most-watched, non-sports program on basic cable, network officials said Tuesday.

The iCarly Saves TV episode, which aired June 13 at 8 p.m. ET, drew an 8.8 rating and 1.9 million tween viewers (age 9-14) and a 9.1 rating and 1.9 million kids between 6 and 11 years of age.

For the year, iCarly, starring Miranda Cosgrove (pictured), ranks as the third-most watched program among teen viewers for both cable and broadcast television, ranking behind only American Idol and Zoey 101, another Nickelodeon series.

Leading up to the primetime special, the iCarly companion Web site, received 973,000 visitors. Nickelodeon also supported iCarly Saves TV with a special mini-site, which featured a sneak peek of the special, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, and music videos from the iCarly album, an iCarly Saves TV game, message boards and an mp3 player for streaming tracks from the iCarly album.

Nickelodeon said the mini-site has received 225,000 visits since its launch on May 29.
